Pregnant and parenting students

Since the passage of Title IX, sex discrimination - including discrimination on the basis of pregnancy, childbirth, and parental status - has been prohibited. Title IX regulations state that an institution that receives federal funding must not discriminate against any student on the basis of pregnancy or pregnancy-related conditions.

If you are a pregnant or parenting student, download the Accommodations for Pregnancy, Parental Status and VAWA offenses policy. Feel free to contact the Title IX Office if you have any questions about what you may be entitled to under Title IX.
